Helping Young Alex Bernier-Legare
A GoFundMe campaign is underway to support 11-year-old Alex Bernier-Legare, who has Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disease, a rare condition affecting his muscles.
The campaign, initiated by his mother Melissa Bernier-Legare, aims to raise funds for two stair lift devices to help Alex move around his home more easily.
Despite his strength and determination, simple tasks that most of us take for granted, like climbing the stairs, getting to his room, or moving around the house, have become increasingly difficult and exhausting for him.
The funds raised will go towards purchasing the necessary equipment to improve Alex's mobility and independence at home.
