Miley Cyrus worked during her teenage years, which she believes harmed her chances of making friends.
She landed a role on Hannah Montana in 2006 and has been in the public eye ever since, with a schedule that didn’t allow for many friends as a kid.
She didn’t think this was necessarily a bad thing, though.
Cyrus’ godmother is Dolly Parton, and Cyrus said she’s learned a great deal from the country superstar, including embracing her individuality instead of following trends.
