Victorian Access Regime
VicGrid is changing the way renewable energy and storage projects gain access to the Victorian transmission network with a new approach, known as the Victorian Access Regime (VAR), replacing the current "open" access regime.
VicGrid is responsible for coordinating the planning and development of Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and will soon be responsible for the planning of the Victorian transmission network.
