Getting a Cut for a Cause at Sault Salon

A fundraiser at Catherine's Hairstyling & Barbershop has generated more than $15,000 for Sault Ste. Marie charities.

During the event, called Cuts for the Cause, five stylists donated their earnings to benefit Habitat for Humanity Sault Ste. Marie & Area.

Owner Catherine O'Donnell estimates that the event has raised over $15,000 to help groups such as the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Soup Kitchen Community Centre, and Algoma Residential Community Hospice.
