Plans to Extend Caravan Park Draw Dozens of Objections

Plans to extend a caravan park in Moray have drawn numerous complaints from residents and neighbors.

Camelo Parks Ltd has applied to Moray Council to add 57 static holiday caravan pitches at Riverview Country Park in Mundole.

A previous application for 78 additional static pitches was refused in April.

Residents and neighbors have described the infrastructure as "horrendous", citing inadequate drainage and sewerage, poor road conditions, and a lack of street lighting.

Concerns have also been raised that the new pitches would increase traffic, damaging roads, and attract hundreds of tourists, potentially "spoiling peace and quiet".

Author's summary: Caravan park extension plans spark controversy.
