The Sarnia Sting suffered a 3-0 loss to the London Knights in front of 4,246 spectators at Progressive Auto Sales Arena.
“You don’t win a lot of hockey games in the Western Conference in the OHL if you don’t outwork the team you’re playing against,”
said Sting head coach Alan Letang. The Knights outworked the Sting, with Sebastian Gatto making 21 saves for his first OHL shutout, extending their point streak to nine games (7-0-2-0).
The only team with a longer point streak in the OHL is the Eastern Conference-leading Brantford Bulldogs, who have a 12-game point streak and beat the Sting 3-1 on Friday.
