Paying Tribute to Nana Konadu
Former Tema West MP, Irene Naa Torshie Addo, has paid a glowing tribute to the late former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings.
Naa Torshie described her as
“one of Ghana’s most courageous daughters and transformative leaders”, noting that her loss was both personal and national.
She stated,
“Her loss is not only personal to many of us who admired her strength, but also national, for Ghana has lost one of its most courageous daughters and transformative leaders”.
Naa Torshie reflected on Nana Konadu's leadership, saying
“From her, I learnt that leadership demands courage — the courage to stand for what is right, to speak when silence is convenient, and to act when others hesitate”.
