Nana Konadu: Tribute from Irene Naa Torshie Addo
Former Tema West MP, Irene Naa Torshie Addo, paid tribute to late former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, describing her as "one of Ghana's most courageous daughters and transformative leaders."
Her loss is not only personal to many of us who admired her strength, but also national, for Ghana has lost one of its most courageous daughters and transformative leaders.
Naa Torshie reflected on Nana Konadu's leadership, saying: "From her, I learnt that leadership demands courage — the courage to stand for what is right, to speak when silence is convenient, and to act when others hesitate."
Naa Torshie received news of Nana Konadu's passing with "deep sadness and reflection", noting her loss was both personal and national.
