Netflix has released a preview from the upcoming final season of Stranger Things. The clip revisits the eerie atmosphere of November 1983, where the story first began.
The five-minute preview starts with a digitally de-aged Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) being chased through the woods by the terrifying Demogorgon. The scene sets the tone for the nostalgic yet haunting finale season.
“Should I Stay or Should I Go,” The Clash’s hit song, fills the tense air as the Demogorgon approaches, indifferent to pain and capable of astonishing agility—even climbing trees.
Will falls hard after a desperate leap, losing consciousness as the scene morphs into nightmarish imagery. The Demogorgon drags his motionless body through the dark toward Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower), whose ominous presence hints at his continued control and malevolent plans.
In anticipation of the two-part season release this November, Netflix has also uploaded the previous five seasons to YouTube. This move stirs excitement and invites fans to refresh their memory before the final showdown in Hawkins.
The new season’s opening captures the eerie nostalgia of the show’s origins and reintroduces its central fears, setting the stage for an intense conclusion.
