Disney has delayed Star Wars: Starfighter and transformed it into a television series. Shawn Levy will helm the project, which is expected to copy The Mandalorian's soft links with the Star Wars universe. Jonathan Tropper wrote the script and believes that fans will welcome the series when it debuts. Disney has also paused all new Star Wars streaming shows for 12 months, making room for this standalone series.
