Nissan issued a recall for its X‑Trail SUV. The recall covers a issue in the steering column that might impact control. A 2025 model in metallic grey is shown on the web for purchase at about AU$45,000. The 2026 version features built‑in Google tech and an off‑road package. Auto Express reported that the upgrades seem modest in use. Nissan says replacement parts will be provided free of charge.
The company also unveiled the Tekton SUV aimed at India and Africa. Is scheduled to be manufactured in Japan for export to ship abroad. The debut in South Africa is expected soon.
