London police came across a tiny marmoset inside a laundry bag on a bus last week. Staff identified the lost animal on July 18. The animal was scared and had no food while shivering. It survived the traumatic ordeal. Animal advocates called it an unlawful abandonment case. Meanwhile, researchers discovered a rare monkey species in Congo’s Lomami National Park. The discovery emerged during a routine survey in the Congo Basin.
