Two people passed away at 7:40 a.m. Wednesday when two cars slammed into each other on the busy Highway 401. Each motorist were pronounced dead at the scene. Five more passengers suffered minor injuries. Thick road debris covered the fast lanes. Cleanup crews worked fast to remove rubble. Authorities closed that stretch of road. Investigators finished their review by around just before noon.
