India pacer Jasprit Bumrah took the wicket of Ben Dwarshuis to become the highest wicket-taker in T20 Internationals (T20I) against Australia. This milestone was achieved during the fourth T20I at Carrara Oval on November 6, 2025, a match India won by 48 runs to lead the series 2-1.
He is also just one wicket short of becoming only the second Indian player to reach 100 wickets in T20Is, after Arshdeep Singh.
Chasing 168, Australia were 77/3 at the midway point. However, after David’s dismissal in the 12th over, the innings collapsed as Australia lost seven wickets for 28 runs over the next seven overs.
“From 91/3, Australia lost seven wickets for just 28 runs in a span of seven overs.”
India will aim to secure the series at the Gabba on November 8, 2025.
Jasprit Bumrah’s record against Australia highlights his dominance in T20Is and brings him close to an elite Indian milestone.
