Australia’s master storyteller marks a major milestone with an album that solidifies his artistic legacy. After more than six years between self-written albums “Nature” (2018) and “Fever Longing Still” (2024), Kelly has returned with a new release just twelve months later.
This album, titled “Seventy”, holds special significance. It is Kelly’s thirtieth album, celebrates his fiftieth year in the music industry, and coincides with his seventieth year of life.
Over five decades, Kelly’s music has become a soundtrack to Australian life and culture, earning him numerous accolades including seventeen ARIA awards for recording and five APRA awards for songwriting.
“2025 AACTA Award for Outstanding Contribution,” was recently presented to Kelly by legendary film star Russell Crowe, who described himself as a lifelong fan.
