UW and Wyoming SBDC Network to Host Patent Introduction Webinar
Small-business owners, entrepreneurs, and startups can attend a webinar on patents on November 12.
The Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network, hosted by the University of Wyoming, will lead the webinar, titled "An Introduction to Patents and Business Considerations," from noon-1 p.m.
The webinar will cover topics such as types of patents, the application process, and business considerations.
The Wyoming SBDC Network offers business expertise to help Wyoming residents think about, launch, grow, reinvent or exit their business.

- The application process
- What to do after a patent is granted or not granted
- The rights of patent owners
- Other business considerations
The Wyoming SBDC Network is funded, in part, through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration and state funds from the Wyoming Business Council.
