REVEALED: What the report into ‘bully’ Neil Foden’s offending has found

Report into Neil Foden's Offending Reveals New Allegations

A report by the North Wales Safeguarding Board has found that more individuals have come forward alleging sexual abuse by Neil Foden, dating back to 1979.

Foden, 68, was jailed for 17 years in July 2024 for 19 counts of sexual abuse against four girls between 2019 and 2023. The report, a Child Practice Review (CPR) investigation, has issued 27 recommendations.

Since Foden’s conviction in July 2024, further victims have come forward. The earliest alleged sexual abuse was in 1979 when Foden had just qualified as a teacher and was in his first post.

The report notes that given the significant changes in society's understanding of child sexual abuse, reviewing practices in operation at that time would not increase current learning, a position agreed upon by the victim from 1979.

The 107-page document aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the case and its implications.
