Red Kettle Campaign Kicks Off in Central Texas
The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign has started in Central Texas, aiming to support local families during the holiday season.
The campaign, which began in 1891, is a symbol of
hope, compassion and generosity—supporting vital programs that serve thousands of individuals and families in need throughout the year.
In the previous year, the Salvation Army of Bell County raised over $95,000, with a goal of $125,000 for 2025.
The Salvation Army was founded in 1865 in London by William Booth and his wife Catherine.
Volunteers are needed to help reach the goal of $125,000.
