Matthew Carney, executive producer of Four Corners since 2022, has resigned.
Carney will remain in his position until a successor is appointed, according to ABC News boss Justin Stevens.
The final Four Corners program for 2025 aired with 575,000 viewers, winning its slot.
The show is currently nominated in the 2025 Walkley Awards, having won its last Gold Walkley in 2022.
ABC stated that Carney's resignation is unrelated to an investigation into reporter Mahmood Fazal.
Carney was leaving in the coming months, but would stay until his replacement was appointed.
