Honda WN7 (2026) Technical Review
Honda is Japan's first major brand with a full-sized EV motorcycle.
The WN7 has no traditional frame, instead using the cast aluminium battery casing as its main structure, keeping weight to a minimum while engineering the right amount of flex into the bike.
Chassis Geometry
The CB1000 Hornet provided the template for the WN7's chassis geometry, with similar dimensions:
- rake: 25 degrees
- trail: 99mm
- wheelbase: 1480mm
Suspension
The suspension is all from Showa, with 43mm upside-down forks at the front and a 41mm monoshock at the rear, acting on a single-sided swingarm, with 120mm of travel at each end.
