UPDATE: Pedestrian Hit by Vehicle in Downtown Whitehorse
A pedestrian was treated for non-life threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle at an intersection in downtown Whitehorse, according to Yukon RCMP spokesperson Calista MacLeod.
The incident occurred at around 12:50 p.m. on Nov. 3, at the intersection of 2nd Avenue and Elliott Street. The driver stayed on the scene, and emergency services were called to the area.

- A portion of 2nd Avenue was closed to traffic following the incident, with the road closed between Main Street and Elliott Street.
- Traffic was diverted around the area, but the police investigation has since wrapped up and traffic is no longer impacted, confirmed MacLeod at about 3 p.m.
