World Series: Yamamoto shines again, Dodgers force Game 7

The World Series will go to a Game 7. In the ninth inning, a two-run lead was starting to slip away from the Los Angeles Dodgers, but Kiké Hernández turned a potential tying single into a game-ending double play.

The crazy thing is I had no idea where the ball was because it was in the lights the whole time

Hernández said this after preserving a 3-1 win over the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 6. The Dodgers kept alive their chance to become the first repeat champion since the 1998-2000 New York Yankees.

The Blue Jays were pushed to Game 7, unlike in 1993 when Joe Carter hit a World Series-winning homer off Philadelphia’s Mitch Williams to capture the title in Game 6.

Author's summary: Dodgers force Game 7 with a win.
