Celebration of Inclusion at Athy Sign Language Festival
The Athy ISLA Festival, funded by Kildare County Council, was a huge success, attracting around 500 attendees from across the country.
People from counties such as Kerry, Cork, and Galway attended the free event, which featured fun activities and entertainment, including sign language activities for families.
- A 5k run/walk started at Dilly Dally Café and finished at the Auld Shebeen, supported by Kildare Sports Partnership and Deaf Sports Ireland.
- The festivities took place on Sunday, September 28, at the Dreamland Ballroom.
