Consultation on Gang-Related Offences Guidance
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) provides guidance to prosecutors on 'gang'-related offending, which was published in 2020 to support the Government's Serious Violence strategy.
The guidance follows David Lammy MP's 2017 review of disparity in the criminal justice system, known as the Lammy Review.
The CPS offers various resources, including advice and support for victims and witnesses, legal guides, and information on becoming treasury counsel or applying for specialist advocate panels.
The current guidance aims to support the Government's Serious Violence strategy and address disparity in the criminal justice system.
