Government Shutdown Update
Vice President JD Vance announced that service members will receive their paychecks on Friday.
We do think that we can continue paying the troops, at least for now.
However, he warned that the White House has a "limited pot of money" as the shutdown stretches into its fifth week.
- Food stamp benefits are set to run out in a week.
- Efforts are being made to keep as much open as possible.
Vance made these comments after a lunch with Senate Republicans on Tuesday.
