ChatGPT Partners with PayPal for Seamless Payments

According to CNBC, PayPal has signed a contract with OpenAI to integrate its digital wallet into ChatGPT, allowing users to easily pay for product recommendations made by the AI tool.

- Merchants can list and sell their goods within the ChatGPT platform.
OpenAI is taking a significant step towards transforming ChatGPT into an e-commerce platform, leveraging its approximately 700 million weekly active users.
OpenAI had previously announced support for payments via Walmart, Shopify, and Etsy in the US through Instant Checkout.
PayPal aims to position itself alongside leading AI providers, including Google and Perplexity, through this partnership.
