NHS Launches AI Trial to Diagnose Prostate Cancer Faster
The NHS has initiated a trial using artificial intelligence (AI) to diagnose prostate cancer up to a month faster, potentially improving outcomes for thousands of men.
The trial, being tested in hospitals across England, aims to transform the diagnosis process by cutting waiting times and detecting cancer earlier.

If a scan is found to have a high-risk cancer by the AI software, it will be sent immediately to a radiologist for a priority review, and the patient will be booked in for a biopsy the same day.
