The Hauser Fire Department is updating the public on its status after its building burned down three weeks ago.
Despite the challenges, the department continues to operate from a donated RV, which was given to them a few days after the fire.
"Every time you turn around you have another challenge because you go to do stuff like normal, that stuff’s not there anymore,” said Chief Jerry Wharton. “You just have to adapt and overcome and that's something that we do on a regular basis in everything that we respond to.
Chief Wharton notes that working out of a vehicle brings a heap of challenges, but the department is adapting to the new situation.
The Hauser Fire Department is persevering and continuing to serve the community despite the setback.
