Kieran McKenna Linked with Celtic Job
Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna is reportedly among the leading candidates to take over at Celtic following Brendan Rodgers’ resignation.
Rodgers, 52, shockingly quit on Monday (October 27), ending a remarkably successful second stint in charge of Celtic.
The Glaswegian giants lost 3-1 to Scottish Premiership leaders Hearts in his last game in charge, with Derek McInnes’ side looking like they may become the first club other than Celtic or Rangers to win the title for 40 years.
Now, Celtic are stepping up their search for a new manager, and according to Sky Sports, Ipswich boss McKenna, 39, is among the leading candidates.
McKenna has been a revelation at Ipswich, taking them from League One to the Premier League before ultimately being relegated back to the Championship last season.
