Scotland Secures Win Against Belarus
Scott McTominay scored the decisive goal for Scotland in their World Cup qualifier against Belarus. The match began with Che Adams scoring the first goal after 14 minutes, striking inside the box with his left foot.
The game remained intense, with Scotland needing a result to compete with Denmark for automatic World Cup 2026 qualification. McTominay, formerly of Manchester United and now with Napoli, scored in the 84th minute with a left-footed finish, assisted by Andy Robertson's neat work.
Belarus made the final minutes tense, with Gleb Kochuk scoring in the 96th minute after bypassing the Scottish defense. Other notable players included Billy Gilmour, John McGinn, Ben Doak, and Angus Gunn.
