World Treadmill Championships to Debut in 2026
The first-ever World Treadmill Championships, dubbed RUN X, will take place over 5km in 2026, allowing ordinary athletes to compete against elite runners.
A partnership between Technogym and World Athletics has made this event possible, with World Athletics president Seb Coe stating that combining technology and physicality is vital.
