Tribute to Nathi Mthethwa
Nathi Mthethwa, the late Ambassador to France, died after falling from the 22nd floor of a hotel in Paris, France last month.
A special official funeral was held in KwaMbonambi, KwaZulu-Natal, where relatives and friends paid tribute to a man who was cultured, kind, nurturing and courageous.
"I cannot ask God why for love this great can never be explained nor measured by time."
His widow, Philisiwe Mthethwa, was too emotional to speak about her husband's death in public, but asked a relative to read her farewell message, saying
"Nothing can quench the fire you've lit in my soul".
