A tribute to the women who shaped Arab music, the “DIVAS: From Oum Koulthoum to Dalida” exhibition is on display at Beirut’s Sursock Museum from October 17, 2025 to January 11, 2026.
The exhibition features cinematic screens, vintage posters, and couture gowns, including Fayrouz’s Baalbeck costumes and Sabah’s stage looks, tracing how these women used their voices to challenge norms and inspire independence movements.
After touring Paris, Amsterdam, and Amman, the exhibition has arrived in Beirut, hosted by the Sursock Museum, paying tribute to the artists whose music and films bridged Cairo, Beirut, and the world.
The exhibition is an immersive tribute to the artists who defined Arab music, cinema, and style — from the 1920s to today.
Author’s summary: Exhibition honors Arab music divas.
