Grateful Dead Studies Association Announces 2026 Academic Conference
The Grateful Dead Studies Association's sixth annual conference will take place in Albuquerque, NM, on February 25th–28th, 2026.
The conference is part of the Southwest Popular/American Culture Association (SWPACA) and will feature panels, social gatherings, and special events.
Scholars, artists, and fans will come together to explore the music, meaning, and legacy of the Grateful Dead.
Proposals for papers, panels, and special sessions are invited from scholars of all disciplines by October 31st.
