Canada's Team Jacobs Wins Opening Match at 2025 Pan Continentals
Team Brad Jacobs, representing Canada, started the 2025 United States Steel Pan Continental Curling Championships with a victory.
The team, consisting of Brad Jacobs, Marc Kennedy, Brett Gallant, Ben Hebert, and alternate Tyler Tardi, defeated China's Team Xiaoming Xu 10-4 at the Iron Trail Motors Event Center in Virginia, Minn.
This win marks the team's first meeting since the 2025 BKT World Men's Curling Championship, where Team Jacobs won 11-2 against the Chinese team in the bronze-medal game.
The Calgary team hopes this won't be their last opportunity to wear the Maple Leaf this season.
The team is coached by Paul Webster and national coach Jeff Stoughton.
