Honoring Darren McFadden's Legacy
The Arkansas football team has introduced a No. 5 jersey patch to honor Darren McFadden, a legendary player in the team's history.
McFadden's number is not retired, but it will be recognized alongside the retired numbers of Brandon Burlsworth (77) and Clyde Scott (12) on the south end zone videoboard at Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
- The patch features McFadden's silhouette and his initials, D.M.
- Defensive tackle Cam Ball and wide receiver Ja'Kayden Ferguson will wear the patch this season.
It's a conversation piece, said McFadden, the Doak Walker Award winner and Heisman Trophy runner-up in 2006 and 2007.
