Morgantown High Rebounds with Impressive Win
Morgantown High bounced back from its first loss of the season with a dominant 45-10 win over No. 14 Parkersburg South.
Maddox Twigg led the charge with an impressive display of early throws and running ability, powering the Mohigans past their opponents.
"We came out and hit the first one, so we just kind of kept going with it,"
Twigg said about the early passes. The Mohigans landed an early haymaker, with Twigg's first three passes going for 87 yards and two touchdowns before 40 seconds had run off the clock.
- Twigg hit Carter Cooper with a 44-yard strike 29 seconds into the game.
- After the Patriots fumbled the ensuing kickoff, Twigg connected with Jayden Smalls on a 15-yard touchdown pass.
The Mohigans improved to 7-1, while the Patriots fell to 2-5.
