Bridgewater College football standout linebacker Aaron Nice, a 2023 third-team All-American, took a season off but stayed in top shape through powerlifting.
Nice, a Stuarts Draft High School graduate, focused on qualifying for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles but fell short, and now he's back with the Eagles.
“He has been a great, he is a legacy (student). His mom and dad have a long history here at Bridgewater,”
Bridgewater head coach Scott Lemn said of Nice, highlighting his family's history with the college as a valuable aspect of the recruiting process.
A video of Nice deadlifting 445 pounds generated over 1.4 million views and was featured on ESPN, rare attention for a Division III athlete.
