Weekend Storms Likely
Saturday is expected to be a busy day with various activities, and while storms are likely to occur through the afternoon, there will be plenty of dry time. Although heavy downpours are possible, most will be brief during the day and early evening.
According to the forecast, Friday will still be a great day with lots of sunshine and warm temperatures, with highs in the middle to upper 80s as winds become more southeasterly. The muggy meter is on the rise, making the air feel stickier for Friday night events.
A line of storms will develop ahead of the front to the north late Saturday into early Sunday morning. The storms should lose some intensity as they push south, but will likely bring the most widespread rainfall during the early part of the day on Sunday. By Sunday afternoon, the rain will have ended, and drier air will settle back in on northerly winds.
