Waymo's Driverless Taxis Are Coming to London
Waymo, a driverless taxi company, has announced its plans to launch in London in 2026, marking its second launch outside of the US.
The company is already testing its "robo-taxis" in Tokyo, but London is expected to be a bigger challenge due to its winding and narrow roads.
As
London is much older than many US cities, Waymo may require more testing before launching its services.
Despite the challenges, Londoners may be able to hail driverless taxis as early as next year.
