Mentone Town Council approved its 2026 budget on Thursday, October. The council members present included Councilman Tim Croy, Clerk-Treasurer Amanda Yaprak, Councilwomen Jill Gross and Shelly Krueger, and town attorney Austin Rovenstine.
- Casino/riverboat fund: $10,000
- Rainy day fund: $0
- Local road and street fund: $17,500
- Motor vehicle highway fund: $110,500
- Cumulative capital improvements fund: $2,500
- Cumulative capital development fund: $15,000
- Economic development fund: $98,000
