Judo Training Center Opens in Shabran
A new Judo Training Center has begun operating in Shabran, as reported by Azernews.
The center was inaugurated with an opening ceremony attended by Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, head of the Shabran District Executive Authority Asif Huseynov, and Executive Vice-President of Azerbaijan Judo Federation Rashad Rasulov, among other officials.
The facility is equipped with modern amenities, including 200 square meters of tatami mats and necessary sports equipment for the physical development of judo athletes. Additionally, there are changing rooms for coaches and athletes, with a capacity to train over 200 athletes.
This is part of a larger effort by the Azerbaijan Judo Federation, which has opened numerous judo halls across the country between 2022-2025, including locations in Ganja, Sumqayit, and others.
