Fall air will continue to dominate the region over the next few days, with temperatures in the 60s and plenty of sunshine.
A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect until 8 PM Friday from the Oregon Inlet southward to Eastern Carteret County, with water levels expected to run 1-2 feet above normal at times.
Temperatures will warm up to the mid-to-upper 70s by the weekend, with a few passing clouds. A front will bring a chance of showers late Sunday and into Monday, although the rain is not expected to be heavy.
Once the rain exits, isolated sprinkles may occur on Monday and Tuesday. As
temperatures will be in the lower 40s, feeling nice and crisp in the early morning hours, the region can expect a pleasant start to the week.
