Naas captain Eoin Doyle leads his team into their fifth Kildare Senior final in a row on Sunday, his fourth consecutive time as captain.
Doyle, in his first year without playing for Kildare in thirteen years, had an outstanding game in the semi-final against Celbridge. Although he was forced off mid-way through the second half, he is fit and well for the final against Athy.
'Philly has been brilliant'
Looking back at the win over Celbridge, Eoin says they were expecting a big battle. He noted,
"We pulled away in the second half, which was positive, very happy with that, but not dwelling on it."
Eoin Doyle is ready for the big game against a strong Athy side, with his passion, hunger, and desire burning as bright as ever.
