A car crash had closed Highway 4 between Parksville and Port Alberni since 1:30 p.m., but it has now reopened.
RCMP and BC EHS have not provided information on the cause of the crash or the status of those involved.
- The highway was closed for several hours, with drivers waiting in line.
- DriveBC expected to provide an update at 7 p.m., but it may not have included new information on the reopening time.
- No alternative route was posted by DriveBC to get between Port Alberni and Parksville.
