Volkswagen Expands Electric Car Grant Eligibility
Volkswagen has added selected ID.4 and ID.5 models to the Electric Car Grant list, giving buyers an instant £1,500 discount at the point of purchase.

Eligible Models and Pricing
Selected models from the Volkswagen ID.4 and ID.5 SUV ranges now qualify for the level-two £1,500 Government Electric Car Grant (ECG) discount, joining the ID.3. Qualifying models are available from £36,995 on the road, with the ECG bringing the effective entry point down to £35,495 for buyers.
The new eligibility means buyers can benefit from that saving without filling in forms, and brings more of Volkswagen’s range into direct competition in the growing electric car price war.
