Red Cross Minnesota and Dakotas Region Supports Western Alaska Recovery
Volunteers from the Red Cross Minnesota and Dakotas Region are arriving in Western Alaska to aid in recovery efforts following deadly flooding.
Seven team members from the region, which includes Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota, are traveling to the area to support those displaced by the flooding.
- Providing emergency shelter for those in need
- Working with state, tribal, and local governments to support impacted communities
- Offering comfort, care, and hope to those affected by the disaster
The Red Cross is working to support the needs of impacted communities as the storm waters recede.
