Tri-County Cross Country Championship
The Tri-County Conference Cross Country Championship took place on Tuesday at the Lumbee Tribe Cultural Center in Maxton.
Nathan Lawson of Lumberton won the boys' race, finishing in 17 minutes, 8 seconds. The top five finishers in the boys' race were:
- Nathan Lawson (Lumberton) - 17:08
- Collin Shick (Cape Fear) - 17:17
- Christopher Shick (Cape Fear) - 17:18
- Nick Lawson (Lumberton) - 17:33
- Kayden Giles - 18:09
Zoe Dorsey of Terry Sanford won the girls' race, finishing in 20:47. Lumberton's Norah Johnson also competed in the event.
