Hannah's Heroes: Veteran dedicates life to helping others heal after traumatic events
Kurt Turner has spent his life helping others heal from traumatic events, from the battlefields of Vietnam to emergencies in Belmont County, Ohio.
With a wealth of knowledge and experience, Turner coordinates the Belmont County Critical Incident Stress Management Team. This team consists of trained volunteers providing support to first responders after traumatic events.
"Kurt and his team, they are a great resource for all first responders in the county,”
said Belmont County 911 Director Bryan Minder.
Turner's work is crucial in helping first responders cope with the aftermath of traumatic events. When the chaos subsides and the silence sets in, Turner and his team are there to provide support.
