George Strait Teases 2026 Announcement
Country music fans are excited as George Strait hints at a 2026 announcement with a throwback festival poster.
Although Strait ended his long tour runs after the Cowboy Rides Away tour in 2014, he still performs on stage. He has reduced the number of shows per year, including a limited number with Chris Stapleton in 2024 and this year.
In 2024, Strait set a record for the largest single-ticketed concert in U.S. history with 110,905 attendees at Texas A&M Kyle Field. This was one of only 10 live shows he performed that year, including a stop at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for his 37th Strait to Vegas residency show.
However, Zach Bryan has since broken Strait's record for the largest single-ticketed concert in the U.S.
