Met Police Marksman Cleared of Misconduct

A Metropolitan Police misconduct hearing for a firearms officer, known as W80, who fatally shot Jermaine Baker during a foiled prison break, has been discontinued.

The hearing panel at Palestra House found that there was no case for W80 to answer, and the case was dismissed. The full reasons for the decision will be provided within the next five working days.
